LG Berhenti Memproduksi Windows Phone, Tapi Sekarang Fokus Ke Android

Berbicara mengenai Windows Phone, mungkin kita akan langsung teringat, Nokia dengan Lumia nya, atau HTC dengan Windows 7 nya. Mungkin kalian tidak terlalu mengetahui bahwa LG juga memproduksi Windows Phone … Paling tidak sampai beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Setelah sebelumnya sempat mengembangkan LG Optimus 7 yang menggunakan OS Windows Phone 7, baru-baru ini pihak LG mengumumkan bahwa mereka tidak akan memproduksi Windows Phone lagi dalam waktu dekat ini. Menurut pihak LG, hal tersebut dikarenakan penjualan mereka di Windows Phone tidak begitu memuaskan. Lebih lanjut dalam press release mereka, LG mengatakan kombinasi penjualan device LG yang menggunakan Windows Phone 7 serta Windows Phone generasi sebelumnya, hanya sebesar 3.9% di US, dibandingkan dengan penjualan device mereka yang menggunakan Android yang mencapai hingga 50%.

Oleh karena itu, lebih lanjut pihak LG mengatakan bahwa mereka tidak akan mengembangkan device dengan Windows Phone lagi akan tetapi lebih memfokuskan diri untuk mengembangkan device yang akan menggunakan OS Android.

Dengan keputusan LG tersebut, saat ini hanya ada 3 perusahaan mobile besar yang tetap mengembangkan device bagi Windows Phone, yaitu Nokia, HTC dan Samsung. Bagaimana menurut kalian? Apakah keputusan LG ini cukup tepat?

Inilah Daftar 10 Ponsel Terlaris Pada Bulan Februari 2011

Setelah saya membaca surat kabar elektronik dari berbagai macam media elektronik saya menembukan sebuah berita yang menarik dan sangat bagus. saya mendapatkan kabar tentang handphone / ponsel dari media elektronik Krusell pada bulan ini telah mendapatkan beberapa handphone / ponsel yang terlaris pada bulan februari 2011. dan untuk posisi iPhone 4 yang sebagai penyandang predikat ponsel paling laris sampai saat ini belum bisa tergantikan oleh ponsel yang lainnya. Ini adalah ke-5 kalinya smartphone yang berbasis iOS menduduki puncak.

Artinya, iPhone 4 bertahan di posisi puncak sebagai ponsel terpopuler selama lima bulan berturut-turut sejak bulan Oktober tahun lalu.

Jika menilik kemampuan dan fiturnya, rasanya smartphone terakhir besutan Apple itu memang pantas menyabet gelar ponsel terlaris. Ia mendobrak pasar dengan fitur FaceTime yang membuat aktivitas video call lebih nyata dan benderang dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya.

"Ini akan sangat menarik untuk memperhatikan di mana posisi tablet perdana HTC. Saya kira HTC Flyer akan mulai masuk ke dalam daftar sejak kuartal kedua tahun 2011," tandas Sandberg.

Sebagaimana diketahui, pemilihan 10 ponsel di atas didasari pada daya serap konsumen terhadap produk-produk casing (pembungkus) ponsel sepanjang 2010, termasuk perangkat serta pernak-pernik portabelnya, yang diproduksi Krusell sebanyak lebih dari tiga juta unit rata-rata per tahun.

Smartphone CDMA Versi Google Siap Diluncurkan Di Pasar

Google telah memperkenalkan sebuah produk terbarunya yang bekerja sama dengan pihak smartphone, kali ini google mengeluarkan smartphone versi keduanya. Google Nexus S yang sebagai suksesor Google Nexus One yang diluncurkan pada bulan Desember yang lalu. meskipun terburu - buru, smartphone terbaru Google tersebut telah berhasil diluncurkan sebelum musim liburan akhir tahun.

Pada baru - baru ini telah beredar rumor yang telah mengatakan bahwa google tengah mempersiapkan smartphone versi CDMA. kendati banyak smartphone CDMA yang berbasis Android yang beredar di pasar, nampaknya raksasa asal Mountain View itu telah optimistis dengan pasar CDMA dan tidak mau lama - lama terjebak di kamp GSM saja.

Sampai saat ini, belum ada tanda-tanda yang bisa menjadi bukti kuat bahwa Google akan merilis Nexus S versi CDMA. Google masih enggan buka mulut.
