Samsung reveals Android smartphone latest entry-level Samsung SCH-I100 Gem for CDMA networks.  It is expected that the phone will be released soon by Verizon Wireless.  Samsung Gem is powered by a 800MHz processor and running the Android OS Eclair 2.1 with Samsung's TouchWiz UI and Social Hub features.  Currently, Samsung's new CDMA phone will be marketed in the United States.

Gem Samsung SCH-I100 comes with a 3.2-inch touch screen with scratch-resistant, anti-stain, anti-reflective glass, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and Bluetooth.  Hp supports microSD memory cards up to 16GB, which Gem only has 124MB of internal memory.
